The Public Works Department of the Wilaya de Tlemcen, in the framework of the reinforcement of the infrastructure of the MESSALI EL HADJ airport, has entrusted to the Oran technical study company, the study of the extension of the airport infrastructures of the Airport “MESSALI EL HADJ “- ZENATA – TLEMCEN.

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT :
The detailed design, which is the subject of this dossier, deals mainly with the extension of the main runway along a 400 m long runway to 3000 m and its attachment to the existing taxiway by extending it and projecting an A Bis ramp. the layout of the runway thresholds, the projection of the roadway as well as the restoration of the existing road, RN98 and CW 71.
These treaties must be adapted to the needs of a modern aerodrome meeting the requirements of air navigation.

The basic design of the aerodrome will allow the landing and take-off of BOEING B 747-400 type aircraft without difficulty.

The sizing of aerodrome infrastructures will comply with O.A.C.L standards and recommendations.

The projection of this study is to provide a hopper along the route of the RN98 going (MAGHNIA ZENATA). This hopper obliges us to protect the embankment by prefabricated retaining walls of variable height parallel to the axis of the RN98 on either side between PK 0 + 495 and PK 0 + 769 and between PKO + 867 and PK 1 + 099 and the covered part of the work is composed of several prefabricated vaulted elements.
